November 15, 2024 Patch Notes: Thanatos Tower

1. Introducing Thanatos Tower: 

The legendary Thanatos Tower has opened its gates! Prepare your party for an epic adventure through one of the most iconic dungeons in Ragnarok Online. Face challenging foes, solve intricate puzzles, and claim rare treasures as you ascend to the top. This update also includes several improvements, balance adjustments, and new content.

• Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum Base Level: 90
  • Party Required: Minimum 5 members
    

• Key Features:

  • 12 Floors to explore, each increasing in difficulty.
  • Puzzle Mechanics: Solve floor-specific challenges to proceed.
  • Boss Encounter: The ultimate test awaits at the top—Thanatos, the mighty ghost knight.
• Warp to Thanatos (hu_fild01) is added to our Premium Warper. Cost: 50,000z

2. Planting Instance System:

A new party-based instance where players can use the plant cultivation skill (mushroom planting).

• Each account can access this instance once per day.
• Duration: 2 hours from the moment of activation.
• Daily Refresh.
• Plant Cultivation Skill: Fully functional within this map, allowing players to do mushroom planting for supplies.
• Players can freely enter and exit in their own instance while the instance is active. The instance will automatically close after 2 hours.
• Party leader needs to activate the instance by speaking to the Botanist NPC located in Prontera.
• Each party receives a dedicated instance map to avoid interference from other groups.

Black Mushroom and Red Mushroom Drops have been returned to normal:

Poison Spore: 55% Mushroom Spore: 55% Feather: 20%

3. Gacha Lotti Update

• Zeny Lotti has been increased from 30,000 zeny to 50,000 zeny
• Roks Lotti has been increased from 4 roks to 8 roks.
• Low-tier Consolation Prize from Lotti has been removed (Bubble Gum, Light Pots Boxes). However, High-tier consolation prize has been retained (Premium Ticket 30D, Card Removal Ticket, Manuals, ESB, etc)

4. Character Skill Updates:

Sniper	Sharp Shooting Damage has been increased from 350% to 420%
Professor	Friendly Mind-Breaker is now enabled in WoE Maps

  • Improved filtering mechanisms to identify and block malicious traffic while allowing legitimate player connections without delay.

• Improved Server Stability:

  • Optimized server performance during peak periods, ensuring smoother gameplay even under high traffic or attempted attacks.

• Firewall Upgrade:

  • Deployed an upgraded firewall to bolster network defenses and prevent unauthorized access.

7. Guild Dungeon Points Checker and Exchange Rate is now available in Payon HQ.
