Patch Notes: February 8, 2025

For this update, our focus was on strengthening SereneRO’s security to ensure a fair and balanced gaming experience. We have other monitoring algorithms recently developed to detect unusual behavior—though we won’t be disclosing the details.

1. Security Updates

• Enhanced Gepard Shield security for better protection against unauthorized game modifications.
• Stricter enforcement of rules disabling some modifications of .grf data files to ensure fair and balanced gameplay.

2. New Automated Event: Disguise Event

• Location: Prontera near Lotto NPC
• Schedule:
  • 11:30 AM
  • 6:00 PM
  • 2:00 AM
• Rounds: 5 per event
• Rewards: 3 Hourly Vouchers per round

How to Play:
The NPC will transform into a random monster. Simply type the correct monster name in the chatbox to win the round! Please note that some monster names may occasionally appear as "null" or have slight differences in the database. This is a normal occurrence and not an issue—just move on to the next round and continue enjoying the event!

3. New Automated Event: Bombring Event

• Location: Prontera Mid
• Schedule:
  • 9:00 AM
  • 11:30 PM
• Rewards:
  • Participation: 3 Hourly Vouchers
  • Winners: 10 Hourly Vouchers + 1 Gold Coin

How to Play:
Survive the waves of bomb rings and avoid getting hit to make it through all rounds.

4. Addition of Proxy (Germany)

• Added a new Germany-based proxy to improve international connectivity and reduce latency for players outside Southeast Asia.
• We have disabled UK-based proxy.

5. Plagiarism NPC Updates

The Plagiarism NPC now allows players to copy even more skills, enhancing build versatility and giving players more options for creative gameplay strategies.

Additional Updates & Fixes

• A costume that allows Cart Change 2 is now available in the Costume NPC.

• PvP Bug Fix Progress: Some players not receiving points—fix is still in progress.
• Sprite Palette Issues: Being worked on for a smoother visual experience.
• Plant Zone Issues: Ongoing resolution. If you encounter mushroom errors, please use manual plant cultivation as a workaround.
• Monthsary Event NPC Removed.
• Savepoint and utility NPCs have been successfully added in Alberta_in.
