The festive season has arrived in Serene Ragnarok Online! Major towns are now decorated with Christmas cheer, including:

• Geffen
• Izlude
• Alberta
• Aldebaran
• Prontera
• Prontera Church Interior
• Lutie

Experience the holiday magic with Christmas trees, lights, and festive decor throughout these locations.

Snowball Effect

Enjoy a gentle snowfall in major towns, adding to the holiday atmosphere and making your adventures more festive.

2. Christmas Quest - SereneRO Edition

Embark on the Christmas Quest to save the holiday spirit in Serene Ragnarok! Travel across multiple cities, help festive NPCs, collect items, and solve Santa’s riddle to earn exclusive rewards. Follow the guide below to complete the quest.

Quest Walkthrough:

Step 1: Santa's Helper

• Location: Prontera (150, 250)
• Appearance: Snowman (Sprite ID: 1062)
• Task:
  • Speak to Santa's Helper to start the quest.
  • Collect 10 Bananas (Item ID: 513).
• Tips: Bananas can be found by hunting Yoyo or other low-level monsters in beginner areas.
• Next Step: Return to Santa's Helper and proceed to Mrs. Claus.

Step 2: Mrs. Claus

• Location: Prontera (160, 260)
• Appearance: Female NPC (Sprite ID: 718)
• Task:
  • Hand over 10 Bananas to Mrs. Claus.
  • She will direct you to Frosty the Snowman.
• Next Step: Visit Frosty the Snowman in Prontera.

Step 3: Frosty the Snowman

• Location: Prontera (209, 321)
• Appearance: Snowman (Sprite ID: 710)
• Task:
  • Collect 15 Grasshopper Legs (Item ID: 940).
    
• Next Step: Return to Frosty and proceed to Rudolph in Geffen.

Step 4: Rudolph

• Location: Geffen (129, 113)
• Appearance: Reindeer (Sprite ID: 873)
• Task:
  • Collect 5 Single Cells (Item ID: 1052).
    
• Next Step: Return to Rudolph and head to the Toymaker in Izlude.

Step 5: Toymaker

• Location: Izlude (131, 173)
• Appearance: Male NPC (Sprite ID: 461)
• Task:
  • Collect the following items:
    • 10 Tentacles (Item ID: 962)
    • 10 Shells (Item ID: 935)
      
• Next Step: Deliver the items to the Toymaker and proceed to the Christmas Tree in Alberta.

Step 6: Christmas Tree

• Location: Alberta (117, 147)
• Appearance: Christmas Tree (Sprite ID: 954)
• Task:
  • Decorate the tree with 10 Garlets (Item ID: 910).
    
• Next Step: Once decorated, head to Santa in Lutie for the final task.

Step 7: Santa's Riddle

• Location: Lutie (148, 93)
• Appearance: Santa Claus (Sprite ID: 718)
• Task:
  • Solve Santa's riddle:
    • Riddle: "What has branches but no fruit, trunk, or leaves?"
      
  • Rewards will be given for the correct answer.
• What Happens if You Fail?
  • If you choose the wrong answer, you can retry by speaking to Santa again.

3. MVP Points System Update

Serene Ragnarok Online introduces the MVP Points System, rewarding players for taking down MVP monsters. Here’s how it works:

• Earn 1 MVP Point for every MVP kill (credited to the killer who gets the MVP reward).
• Points Exchange: MVP points can now be exchanged for exclusive items.
• All players start with Fresh MVP Points.

Introducing Zodiac Scroll

• For 10 MVP Points, you can exchange for 1 Zodiac Scroll.
• Zodiac Scrolls are a coveted reward, making every MVP kill even more rewarding!
• Get a chance to obtain Zodiac Slotted Headgear.

Note

• The MVP Points System currently credits points to the killer (the player who gets the MVP reward).
• Party Points are not yet implemented, but they may be considered in future updates.

4. Newbie Helper NPC: Premium VIP for Beginners

The Newbie Helper NPC in Prontera is here to give new players a boost with Premium VIP 14D access for free in addition to the usual 99/70 rewards. This is only one-time and account bound.

Here's how it works:

Player Workflow

1. Speak to the Newbie Helper NPC in Prontera.
2. If your character is under Level 60 and you have the required items, the quest will begin.
3. Collect and turn in the following items:
   • 100 Mushroom Spores
   • 100 Feathers of Birds
   • 100 Nippers
   • 150 Jellopies
4. Upon completion, you’ll receive a Premium VIP Ticket as your reward.

5. Additional Proxies for Improved Connectivity

To enhance the gaming experience for international players, Serene Ragnarok Online has introduced new proxy servers for better connectivity and reduced latency. The following proxies are now available:

• UK Proxy: Optimized for players in Europe.
• US Proxy: Ensures smoother gameplay for players in East/West America.
• Australia Proxy: Designed for players in Australia.
• SG3 Proxy has been improved for better performance. If you still get disconnection issues in this proxy with your ISP, try SG1, SG2 and Sydney.

• Added Clock Tower B2 and Juperos Dungeon in Premium Warper NPC.
• Enhanced Rough Oridecon and Rough Elunium Exchange to allow bulk conversion.
• Increase monsters in nif_fild01 and nif_fild02.
• Serene Blessing trigger price has been increased from 3,000,000 zeny to 6,000,000 zeny.
• Added 2 Garment Costumes in Serene Shard Shop. 
• Removed 3rd Monthsary quest and Like and Share event NPC.
• Bunny Ears Hat effect changed from chance to cast Lv 5 Increase Agi when hit to chance to cast Lv 5 Increase Agi when attacking.
• Accounts with locked character slots have been unlocked.
