Sniper vs Sniper 1v1 PvP Event: Game Mechanics

Overview

The "Sniper vs Sniper 1v1" PvP event is a competitive showdown designed exclusively for Sniper class characters in Serene Ragnarok. Players will battle each other in a test of skill, strategy, and precision to determine who is the ultimate Sniper.

Requirements

  1. Character Level: All participants must have a Sniper character at level 99/70.
  2. Equipment Regulations:
    • Equipment for the event will be provided by the Game Masters.
    • All existing equipment will be temporarily removed from participants before the event.
    • Participants are not allowed to bring or use their own equipment.
    • After the event, all equipment will be returned to its original state.
  3. Rewards for Participation:
    • Every participant will receive 15 Elite Siege Supply Boxes and 30 Hourly Vouchers as a token of appreciation for their preparation and participation in the event.

Tournament Style and Format

The event will follow a Single Elimination Tournament format, which is best suited for a 1v1 competition. This format ensures that each match is decisive, with the winner advancing to the next round and the loser being eliminated from the tournament.

  1. Seeding and Bracketing:

    • All participants will be randomly seeded into a single-elimination bracket.
    • The initial round matchups will be determined randomly to ensure fairness.
    • The tournament will progress through a series of rounds, including Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Final.
  2. Match Rules:

    • Each match will consist of 3 rounds.
    • The winner of each match is determined by the best of 3 rounds format, meaning the first participant to win 2 rounds will proceed to the next stage of the tournament.
    • Matches will take place in a designated PvP arena, supervised by a Game Master to ensure fair play.
  3. Victory Conditions:

    • A round is won when one Sniper successfully defeats the other.
    • Victory is determined either by the elimination of the opponent (reducing their HP to zero).
  4. Tournament Progression:

    • Winners of each round will advance to the next stage of the bracket.
    • In the case of an odd number of participants, one player may randomly receive a "bye" to advance to the next round without a match.
    • The tournament will continue until the final match determines the overall champion.

Event Rules

  • No External Assistance: No player is allowed to receive help from other players, potions, or buffs not provided by the Game Masters.
  • Fair Play: Any form of cheating, glitch exploitation, or rule-breaking will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Respectful Conduct: All participants must maintain respectful conduct towards each other and the Game Masters throughout the event.

Prize Distribution

  • Champion: The winner of the final match will receive Php 2,000, an exclusive costume, and 3,000 Roks Token.
  • Runner-Up: The runner-up will receive Php 500 and 1,000 Roks Token.
  • Participants: All participants will receive the previously mentioned 15 Elite Siege Supply Boxes and 30 Hourly Vouchers.
